Dr.Vikki Hufnagel -Quick Overview: Late 70's/Early 80's
 Books have been written and
movies made of conspiracies and cover-ups. Some examples are The Constant Gardner, The
Insider, Karen Silkwood, and Erin Brocovk. These real events when presented to us cause us
to be outraged and fearful. Our hearts jump a beat and we say, "gosh, that really
happened". At the end of these movies we feel a
sense of relief that the conspiracy or wrongdoing was exposed, that the story was told,
and that the wrongdoers were stopped or punished.
When comparing past conspiracies and cover-ups no two stories are the same. The real life events and the circumstances surrounding each event are unique and different depending on the people involved and the industry, but all have one thing in common, there is a whistle blower. What makes us fearful is we see what tactics the wrongdoers take in retaliation to the whistle blower. One such story, which has not yet been published or made into a movie, is that of Dr. Vikki Hufnagel. Her story is unlike any story you will ever hear of and she is unlike any other person you will ever meet. The following time line is an outline of what has occurred to Dr. Hufnagel throughout her career.
As a young women she was hardworking, outspoken, direct, and to the point, as she is now. Then as now, Dr. Hufnagel never sits idly by but takes continuous action. She has little tolerance for injustices, lies, and stupid questions. Dr. Hufnagel is an obgyn surgeon by trade.The industry that she exposed (and still is exposing) is primarily that of medical abuses in women's health care. nevirapine, Qui Tam Where RICO laws might be applied: Although some of the RICO predicate acts are extortion and blackmail, one of the most successful applications of the RICO laws has been the ability to indict or sanction individuals for their behavior and actions committed against witnesses and victims in alleged retaliation or retribution for cooperating with law enforcement or intelligence agencies. The RICO laws can be alleged in cases where civil lawsuits or criminal charges are brought against individuals or corporations in retaliation for said individuals or corporations working with law enforcement, or against individuals or corporations who have sued or filed criminal charges against a defendant. Anti-SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public participation) laws can be applied in an attempt to curb alleged abuses of the legal system by individuals or corporations who utilize the courts as a weapon to retaliate against whistle blowers, victims, or to silence another's speech. Dr. Hufnagel is today is strikingly beautiful. As a young women she was drop dead
gorgeous. She attended Berkly, received her medical degree at the School of Medicine at
the University of California, and completed resident training at the Albert Einstein
School of Medicine in New York.
